It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I get all crazy when I see the Christmas stuff in stores! Although, to be honest, I think these Christmas decorations may actually stay up year 'round, I'm not sure. But aren't the pictures great to see anyway? The first 2 were taken in Weatherford at one of their cute little stores and the bottom 3 were taken in Granbury. The pink, green and blue trees remind me of the Grinch movie. Loved to look at them, but pretty sure I won't be doing trees like that in my own home. lol Check out the pillows in the bottom picture! I love them! I'm going to have to buy a couple of them soon before the store owner decides to charge me for fondling them anyway! I saw these back in July, too. What am I waiting for? The store to sell them all so I can kick my own tail-end for not getting them when I could?

  6. I love the new ticker at the top.

I think I am on shopping overload just from looking at your pictures.

You comment was too funny - Tents R Us. The only problem with the comment was you left one and it was prompt.

  7. If anyone could find a shop with a Christmas theme in this heat, why am I not surprised that it was you? Good news, lots of goodies coming your way. Will be shipped by UPS next Friday and I promised your Uncle Wally that I would stop finding stuff to put in it...hurry, tell me what music you don't have...

  8. Alrighty...I'm a bit behind on blogging and just caught up with your latest blogs...1st)I've been to all the stores you posted in Granbury...love everyone of them...did you stop at a little sandwich shop (yea I'm bad w/names, too) something Merrytime...anyhoo...they have the BEST pumpkin bread w/cream cheese icing...so good...get it when you order a sample plate...OR just order it by itself...you get MORE that way!!... 2nd)I did not know Weatherford had that many antique and goody shops...I'll have to scoot west and check that out...soon! 3rdly) Never been to Decatur downtown...but maybe on my way to Colorado next time (if I'm driving...I'll swing by)... 4th) You asked if all small towns in Texas had court houses...well...no only the towns that are "county seats"...that is where the county judge, county tax assessor, county clerk...you know all the "county" stuff is housed...Cleburne is a county seat...Hillsboro is a county seat...of course Granbury, Weatherford and now I know Decatur is...so usually the awesome old towns that are the county seats...have some cool places to shop...OH...and that pink tree that reminded you of The Grinch Stole Christmas...I'm thinking your new pink room NEEDS that pink tree...or a similar one...anyway...if you decide to go pink...I have a few vintage pink Christmas balls that I picked up at a Garage Sale for very little $$...so let me know...I'll send them to you! If you go pink!! I've never used them...I was going to sell them in my antique booth...IN GRANBURY!!! Yea...I betcha didn't know that...it was at Witherspoons...right before you get to the square...they have some great stuff and I think they are a little cheaper than things you find on the square...location...location...location!! Let me know...I gave my booth up a few years back...I was working part time...my husband got very sick (so I had to be his full time nursemaid) and all...so something had to give...so I gave that up...I miss it sometimes....but it was a lot of work...and a good hour plus drive from my home...so really it was a good thing...but I did love the shop I had my stuff in...it was great!!

Well...I think I about covered all your blogs in this one comment! Sorry I hate to do that...but I'm so behind...it's all I could manage!!

    Blessings...

  13. I do the same thing about Halloween decorations. All year I find little clusters of goodies, but do I buy them? No, I wait until its October and then all the good stuff is gone. I say buy it whenever you want! :)

  16. Kari that is funny about your daughter. I wasn't gonna say how mine happened, but it will make you feel good about yours lol. I do festivals sometime and i was doing one in a mall for Christmas. I had traveled six hours with my SUV full and running over.My 21 yr old daughter went to help. I sat up my tables and worked all weekend. There was a dog vendor there. She just had to have this dog. At the end of the day he marked the dog down. I was running around like a nut wrapping gifts when she comes and and tells me she is getting him, but the guy wont take checks. I tell her get th cash out of my box and write me a check. Guess what? I get home she has made a mistake in her checkbook and my check is hot! I have traveled all that way and worked my but off for a dog lol. I said give me the cash or a dog. She throws his papers and pee pads down the stairs. what we do for our kids..

  19. So I love the pink, green, and blue trees. If they had a purple one, well I might have to get it. I know I am terrible but I love them. So yesterday I was reorganizing my christmas and fall decorations(cause I bought some new ones) and have decided to do my fall decor next week or maybe the next but really soon.

  22. White Christmas is my FAVORITE movie by far. I HAVE to watch it once each season. I think my husband and I can almost recite it by heart In fact I think I referenced it in one of my very first posts! (about George Bailey being the RICHEST man in the world!) I've been thinking a lot about Christmas too, earlier than normal! In fact, I found a very special Christmas Surprise on Ebay that I'm getting ready to write about.
