It seems silly, but I wish more of our stores would adopt such dress codes. I can't even begin to count the number of times I see people out and about, wearing their flippin' pajama bottoms, as they're cruising through Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby or even the mall. What's up with that?? Didn't anyone ever teach these people proper clothes etiquette? Sheesh.
Welsh supermarket bans shopping in pyjamas
There does seem to be a lot of people around these days that would benifit from a dress for success course. 'Get up, dress up and show up' might be a good moto for all of us to adopt.

Amen, sister! I hate going to walmart and seeing people in their pajama bottoms. I have parents who have come to school like that. It's nuts.
ReplyDeleteI'd agree except that I think that I once went to the store in my pajama bottoms. I also hope that I was wearing my floor-length black wool coat with a big scarf to hide my face. ;D
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever worn pjs out of the house but when my kids were in college they talked about seeing students roll out of bed and head to class in their pjs. That wouldn't have flown at my college but that was a long time ago. The photo you posted looks like a costume from an opera - can't remember the name but I think it's Italian. I'm too lazy to google it. Now that's lazy.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your tattoo!! And, agree about pj's in public. It's amazing the lack of common sense. :)
ReplyDeleteDang. Next thing you know they'll ban going out in the day before's makeup...
ReplyDeleteI don't get the whole wearing pj's out in public thing! But you are talking to a gal who wouldn't even go to my mailbox in pj's. Haha... How's Sydney the wonder dog doing?
ReplyDeletePreach it sister! I so agree!
