Think I'd Better Get Started on Doing This:

And while it may take me awhile to explain away the bad attitude I've cultivated most of this year, I did do one good deed for this holiday season. I made some fudge for Randey's office party. Thank goodness I don't like this stuff or it never would have made it out the door. lol Oh wait a minute...does the fact that I would have eaten it myself if I liked peanutbutter/chocolate fudge take away from the good deed of making it for his office party? Yeah...probably. Because I really would have eaten most of it and said to heck with his office party if this had been good, old fashioned Hershey's cocoa fudge. I do have my standards, you know. And bad attitude isn't always a bad thing anyway. Right, Santa?

  2. What's not to like about that fudge? Is it the peanut butter? Are you mad, girl? That looks just plumb luscious! Probably a good thing you don't like it tho, we'd have to get you a wheel barrel!!!HA!

  3. Excuse me? Doesn't this have chocolate attached to it? Send it my way - I'll eat it for you!

And about that attitude! You better shape up unless you need coal for Christmas (I dunno - maybe you heat your house with coal - or you do a lot of BBQing in Texas).

  4. I do the same thing. If I have to make some food item to take to a gathering or give as a gift, I make something that I'm not tempted to eat before it leaves the house.

A good deed is not judged by the type or flavor of the gift given!

I think Santa knows the real Kari. Hope that doesn't scare you too much. Hahahahaha...

(Oh, hope that the check arrives before you miss it too much.)

  8. Guess what? I'm commenting you on my Christmas present! I bought a new laptop today. My old one died again Sunday, the day our power came back... I didn't blog about it because I felt like I was being whiny... but the repair guy said he couldn't fix it. SO I went this morning and got a new one. I'm very happy about this decision, but be aware of lots of paid postings to pay this baby off! :o)
    Merry Christmas Kari!
    love,
    Annie

  10. I think Santa wou;d approve of your brilliant,"make 'em something I won't eat" solution!..
Real fudge has no extra stuff, like nuts(ugh!),or anything not specifically fudge like in consistency.

  17. Hey...do you have something against Chocolate???? or Peanut Butter?
If I were a gambling gal I would venture to say Peanut Butter...so I guess you don't care for the Reese's PB cups or Pieces either...Girl...I was raised Catholic...Protestant now so I can have anything I want to eat...if it hadn't been for PB & J sandwiches while growing up...I would have starved every Friday! Hubby and I are baking some goodies tomorrow to take around to some friends and such...kind of a tradition we used to do b/f children...and we are wanting to re-vive it now that they are out of the house...WELL...I'm wanting to re-vive it...and YES I did say hubbin' is helping...not sure if HE knows it yet...b/c he's out of town...but oh! you can betcha...he's helping!

God Bless you and keep you warm, safe and happy this Christmas season...oh and I hope 08' is the year you get some help with that whole depression thing!!

    Teresa

P.S. by the way look for an email from me...I found you a FEMALE gyno...that wonders of wonders has been through menopause/depression/whatever herself...is a great listener...and she is in Fort Worth! I'll email you her name and number a friend of mine uses her and loves her..."T"
