Let's Get Together

For those of you who think the sides of this election are too divided, here's a tribute to our togetherness...in all our ridiculous glory.

Little gems of truth are in this thing. Including the fact that most conservatives don't like John McCain because they think he's too moderate. Me? I think he's the perfect person to work with both sides of the aisle. Obama's smear campaign against him, trying to convince the American public that John McCain is just an extension of Bush, has succeeded in diverting the American people from John McCain's record of reaching out to both sides of the aisle and his willingness to do what's best for our country. If you examine the records and not just the sound bites, you will see that John McCain is someone who has devoted himself to ending the divisiveness and has shown a willingness and ability to just get on with the business of what's right for America. This truly is a man who has put country above party and duty above self, time and time again.

  1. I wish McCain was more conservative. But he will make an outstanding President, and I have faith that he will always do what he thinks is right for our country. He's got a proven track record.

  2. What's the old saying "To give the Devil his due..." Yup, the Obama camp have done an amazing job. No doubt about it. -sigh-

Helped along by those who just want to "Throw the bums out." Meaning, the Republicans. Throw 'em all out and let "the other side" have a chance.

Trouble is, "the other side" isn't that same "other side," which we remember. And when everyone wakes up to this, it will be too late. No matter what happens in 2012, the Supreme Court will have been packed with Lib. Dems, for years and years. Wheeeeee... :-(((( Etc., etc., etc.

What keeps me sane is the hope that there really is a Silent Majority out there. And they WILL get out and vote, EVEN though the Lib news is hammering home the message... "It's all over, folks."

I hope a lot of people act as if they don't believe "It's all over". Not without their vote, it isn't!!!!

    I hope.

    I hope.

    I hope.

  4. I think the Republican party attack ads saying he is wrong for the country, that people should be afraid it he gets elected is wrong. Those kind of scare tactics will cause some idiot to assinate him. the ATF has already uncoverd one plot to kill him. What is this country comming to.

  5. Nice bit of levity there. I particularly enjoyed the image of Sen. Obama riding a unicorn.

I hear a lot of people talk about Sen. McCain, but I've not heard anyone say that he's not qualified for the job. On the other hand, no one can say that Sen. Obama has the qualifications for the job. Heck, he couldn't even handle doing the job of being senator from Illinois well. Look at THAT record.

  8. I haven't been real keen on McCain's ads; however, I wouldn't vote for the other one no way no how. No experience, period. That's just the way I see it. But, I'm afraid it's too late, and we'll have to roll with the punches.

  9. Well, I have to say John McCain should have had you as a campaign manager...you've done a better job of putting him forward than anyone I know. You should have the "email this page" activated so I can e-mail it to everyone I know. You do at least check your facts, which is more than I can say for either of the candidates managers.
