A Blog to Say I'll be Blogging Again Soon

Just a quick note to say I should be back on my blabber-mouth blogging schedule starting tomorrow! Nicholas left this morning (yes....I'm much, much unhappy about that) and Jodie and Maddy Moose leave this evening (two visits to the airport in one day - eeeckkk!). Tomorrow, I'll be all lonely, grumpy and basically back to my usual self. lol

In the meantime, here's a picture we took the day Jodie and Maddy flew in. After leaving the airport, we stopped off at a place called Incredible Pizza (it's like a Chuck E. Cheese for older kids). A very nice woman offered to take a picture of all of us together. Bless her heart, though, she couldn't seem to hold the camera still. But it's the thought that counts, right? I've got lots more pictures of the kids and their visit that I'll be posting over the next few days. Including pictures of the Star Wars exhibit at the museum. Way cool. Wait 'til you see it! (I know everyone's on the edge of their seats at the thought, aren't you??).
"Talk" to you all soon! Can't wait to catch up with all that's gone on in Blogland!

  2. Hey girl...you've been very missed, ya know!! Thanks for your comments on my blog...I can't seem to send you an email...so I checked your site and was so HAPPY you are posting again...I know what it's like when family is around...so great...but it does cut into our blog time doesn't it??? I share your sorrow about your son leaving...I know he is going further away than my daughter lives...and you don't get to see him as often as you would like and that makes it all that much harder for you I am sure...when I left my daughters on Sunday...as she was driving us to the airport...my eyes just started filling up w/tears...I was so glad I had my sunglasses on...cos she wouldn't have liked seeing me cry I am sure...I just told her that Colorado was affecting my allergies...and kept my sunglasses on...the WHOLE TIME...I hate saying goodbye...it makes me so sad...even when they were in college and came home for a weekend...I would cry the whole time it took them to get back to their schools...my daughters drive was about 1 1/2 hours...but my sons was 3 hours long...and I managed to cry the entire time...but as soon as I knew they were alright...then my heart started mending...AND Kari...this was before menopause...can you imagine what I'm like now....!!

God Bless ya...sweetie...glad you're back with us...can't wait for your post...you always strike a familar cord w/me...must be the "Dino Connection"!!

    Blessings...
